Case Study #11

About Taste is an AI-powered mobile app that understands natural language and helps users find the exact products they're looking for, even from vague or descriptive searches.
Problem Traditional shopping apps often struggle to understand descriptive searches, returning irrelevant results or failing to find matching products. They also lack reliable product research and direct links to purchase the items users discover.

Approach Designed a simple and intuitive mobile experience that makes a sophisticated AI process feel effortless. The goal was to minimize friction, clearly communicate each step of the search, and deliver more accurate product recommendations with direct shopping links.

Starting pointThe project began with low-fidelity wireframes to define the user flow, content structure, and core functionality. At the same time, we explored the product vision, branding, and naming.

The final name, Taste, was chosen collaboratively by the team.

BrandingOne of our first priorities was defining the product's positioning in a crowded market. This process helped simplify complex interactions and create a faster, more user-friendly experience.

We wanted the brand to feel bold, energetic, and memorable. Instead of following the minimal look common among competitors, we built a colorful visual identity that immediately stood out and reflected the personality of the product.

ProductOnce the wireframes were approved, I focused on designing the complete product experience.

Every screen and interaction was carefully considered to ensure the flow felt intuitive from start to finish. Rather than relying on familiar UI patterns, I explored fresh interactions and visual ideas that would make the product feel exciting while remaining easy to use.

WebsiteWith such a short timeline, our priority was launching the product as quickly as possible.

Instead of building a large marketing site, we created a single-page website that clearly explained the product, highlighted its key benefits, and gave visitors everything they needed to understand the value and download the app.

Built the first MVP in one month, enabling the team to test the product with real users.
