Case Study #09
About
Prism, a first-of-its-kind lending platform tailored to startup tech companies and employees, today announced the launch of its origination services following combined Seed and Series A fundraises of $26 million led by Pantera Capital and Human Capital.
Problem
Applying for a loan is often a stressful and confusing process. Users are required to make important financial decisions while navigating complex forms, eligibility requirements, and multiple approval scenarios.
My challenge was to design the experience from 0 to 1, creating a simple, intuitive flow that reduced uncertainty at every step. Every interaction and possible edge case was carefully considered to prevent errors, improve completion rates, and build trust throughout the application process.
Approach
Led the design team that built seamless product experience and created a scalable design system that unified workflows across teams and supported future product growth.
I worked closely with the founders from day one, helping shape both the product strategy and user experience. Starting with research, user flows, and rapid prototyping, I iterated through multiple concepts before building a scalable design system that unified the product across web and mobile.
Alongside the platform itself, I designed the company's branding, marketing website, and investor-facing materials to create a consistent experience across every customer touchpoint. By balancing business objectives with user needs, I helped establish a strong design foundation that could scale as the company evolved.
